Ichii Sayaka writes about an experience her daughter had at school

Former Morning Musume member Ichii Sayaka, now blogger/political hopeful, posted on Twitter about her daughter receiving a notice from the school to dye her hair black.

Because her daughter’s hair color changes on its own and she swims a lot, her daughter must adhere to the school rules that her hair is black including the tips of her hair and was instructed to dye it black.

Her daughter had a a hair test again the next day, her daughter said that if she should dye her hair but Ichii refused and told the teacher that she’s not going to dye her hair’s daughter black.  It’s a disgrace to her dignity as an individual.

Ichii said the hair test was done visually and she said the person involved with checking the hair of her daughter never had any experience dying her hair or perming her hair in the past.

In addition, Ichii requested (for the school) to not ask children questions to get a confession, making them feel anxiety. She wants education to be the focus for the children.

Ichii asked, “Why haven’t these unreasonable school rules changed. It won’t change if people don’t speak out. Very similar to politics”.

頭髪検査は目視で行うとのこと。

本人にも過去染めたりパーマをかけたりした経験はないかの確認をするそう。

『ただでさえ不安になってしまった子どもに自白を強調するかのようなニュアンスの質問は控えてほしいです』と先生には一言添えた。

子どもに寄り添う教育であってほしいと願うばかり。
