In an article featured on FRIDAY Digital, the question is asked if GLAY vocalist TERU (49) and PUFFY’s Onuki Ami (46) are still together?

The two live in one of the most luxurious residential areas in Tokyo and the area is the host of many major musicians.

But according to the article, a record company executive has said the two have been absent from the area.

According to this source, “I heard that Ami has left the house.  I think Ami and his mother-in-law were left alone because he was so absorbed in his work.  They are in a period of separation and will lead to a divorce”.

It is known that TERU was married prior to his debut with GLAY and had a wife and child.  But when he met Ami in 1998, his life changed and he left his wife and child for Ami in 2002.

The FRIDAY reporter headed to the location where TERU and Onuki were living and saw a Mini Cooper with Ami, with her daughter in the passenger seat.  The report who took a photo observed that she didn’t even park in the garage and saw her go to the house and returned with luggage and then she got into her Mini Cooper and drove away.

On August 17th, after the Bon Festival, the reporter saw Teru at the home area and asked him if they were together and he refused to answer and told the reporter to go to his management.

So, the reporter contacted the management and they replied with, “They aren’t divorced.  Since his children are grown up, they have a different pace of work and he wanted to live in an area with different work rooms in Tokyo and also to prevent the spread of the coronavirus infection”.
