Did BTS reclaim the YouTube record of highest number of views in 24 hours?

BTS’ “DYNAMITE” is absolutely doing amazingly well in various charts, even surpassing Taylor Swift at #1 on the Spotify Debut of 2020 with 7.77 million streams on the first day (Taylor Swift was the previous #1 at 7.74 million streams).

As for the music video that debuted a day ago, the group surpassed 98 million views which should put them back in the #1 position of most viewed video on YouTube for the first 24 hours, which the official record currently belongs to BLACKPINK’s “How You Like That” at 86.3 million.

YouTube will announce the official number soon but it is more than likely that BTS will reclaim #1 spot.

As for BLACKPINK, the group recently surpassed 450 million views and did it in 57 days.  Will BTS surpass 450 million views in less than 57 days? We’ll have to wait and find out, as the group is nearing 130 million views and the second day is not even done yet.
