“Doraemon” voice actor Tomita Kosei has passed away

Voice actor Tomita Kosei (84) who was the first voice of “Doraemon” died on September 27th due to a stroke on October 1st.

Tomita did the voice of “Doraemon” when it debuted on NTV back in 1973.

He was also the voice of Bakabon’s dad in “Heisei Tensai Bakabon” and Suzuki Jirokichi in “Meitantei Conan”.

He also did voices for video games especially for numerous “Super Robot Wars” video games and Japanese releases of “Call of Duty Black Ops” and “Fallout New Vegas”.
