DyDo DRINCO has developed vending machines that can be operated via foot, vending machines to also include masks and wet wipes

As many businesses have been affected by the novel coronavirus, this includes vending machine operators.

DyDo DRINCO has now created a vending machine that can be operated by foot as many people are afraid of getting coronavirus through vending machines.  Just wave your IC card to pay for your drinks, press on the beverage, step on the pedal on the bottom right of the vending machine to open the flapper, take out the drink and you are good to go.

DyDo DRINCO’s new vending machine is the first vending machine in the industry to be operated by foot.  Of the sales of DyDo DRINCO in the domestic beverage business, more than 80% of sales is from drinking machines.

In addition, DyDo DRINCO has started to offer masks and disinfectant wipes along with beverages in their vending machines.

The products are nonwoven masks (2 swheets) and sterilized wet wipes (10 sheets) for Y200 (tax included).

The company expects that it will be rolled out to about 3,000 units nationwide and more items will be added in the future.

Back in July, DyDo DRINCO announced that they are also experimenting with Japan’s first face recognition payment vending machine utilizing NEC’s face recognition technology, which would make it easier for people to pay for beverages without a wallet or smartphone.
