Okamura Takashi (50) has gotten married. Okamura made the announcement via the “Ninety-nine’s All Night Nippon (ANN) on Thursday at 1:00 p.m. The radio show was like a wedding press conference as Okamura answered questions from listeners along with his comedy partner Yabe Hiroyuki and his guest Aiko.
Many entertainers took to SNS to wish Okamura congratulations.
On the show, after 46 minutes, Okamura was urged by his comedy partner, Yabe Hiroyuki (49) to make the announcement. Okamura said, “There is something that I really wanted to say on radio, so I’ll tell you it straight. I got married. I couldn’t talk about it until today as I wanted to tell my listeners first”.
In addition, Yabe celebrated his 49th birthday on the 23rd and it was a happy milestone day for both members of Ninety-nine.
After the program ended, Yabe quickly talked to the press, holding a big bouquet.
When asked about his wedding schedule, Okamura said, “We haven’t decided anything yet”.
When asked about a child, Okamura said, “We have no plans”.
When asked about what kind of person his wife is, Okamura said, “She’s a very strict and kind person”.
