“Denpa Shonen” was a popular series from the ’90s and early 2000s (began back in 1992) and it was revealed on November 5th that “Denpa Shonen” will return as “Denpa Shonen W” on WOWOWOW starting on January 2021.
The show was known for following the exploits of Musubi (one where he had to live naked without shaving or receiving a hair cut and another where he had to hitchike around the world), to discovering the comedy duo Saruganseki (which popular TV host Ariyoshi Hiroiki was a part of) and more!
“Denpa Shonen W” is a series that gives what people are wanting, something to make people laugh and cry and it’s a show that no doubt “Denpa Shonen” can do and a kind of shown that many people in Japan have memories of.
The series will be directed by original “Denpa Shonen” director Tsuchiya Toshio.
