Man arrested in assault of Kahala Tomomi

Tokyo police have arrested a 32-year-old man for grabbing Kahala Tomomi’s arm and shoving her out of the taxi.

According to various reports, Kahala Tomomi was in a taxi and a taxi driver told her another taxi had been following theme for 30 minutes.  The driver asked if Kahala was in trouble.

As the taxi stopped in Shinagawa Ward, the other taxi stopped and Kahala went to the other taxi and argued with the man inside, who happened to be a weekly magazine reporter.  The man then reportedly grabbed her arm and shoved her out of the taxi, which prompted Kahala to call police.

The man has denied touching Kahala and doesn’t remember touching her and the publication company, Kobunsha said there was a problem during an interview with Kahala.
