Six members of Johnny’s Jr. group, Travis Japan tested positive for COVID-19

Johnny’s Jr. group, Travis Japan’s performance for Miyagi/Aichi in May have been canceled as six members and a manager tested positive for COVID-19.

Miyachika Kondo, Nakamura Kaito, Shimekake Ryuya, Yoshizawa Shizuya, Matsuda Genta and Matsukura Kaito were among the six members who tested positive.

In Johnny’s statement, on April 26th, after arriving in Hokkaido, Yoshizawa complained of poor physical condition. He had symptoms of a fever of nearly 39 degrees Celsius and was feeling weak, symptoms of the novel coronavirus. Based on that, they decided to cancel the Hokkaido performance.

In response, all members and the manager conducted a PCR test and on April 28th, six members and the manager tested positive. Only Kawashima Noel was the only member who tested negative.
