With the surprise announcement of Aragaki Yui (32) and Hoshino Gen (40) getting married, the two not only starred in the popular drama “Nigeru wa Haji da ga Yaku ni Tatsu” but the two also were featured in Nintendo CM’s.
Nintendo sent a congratulatory message to the couple, “We are surprised at the announcement that the two will be married, and at the same time, we are delighted that it is a very happy story. Aragaki-san and Hoshino-san will create a happy family for a long time”.
It is very rare for a company to send a congratulatory message but with Aragaki starring in Nintendo commercials for “Ring Fit Adventure” and “Atsumare Dobutusu no Mori” (Animal Crossing), while Hoshino Gen singing the 35th anniversary theme song for Nintendo, and is a big fan of “The Legend of Zelda”, both are Nintendo fans and Nintendo is supportive of them.
