Tokyo has confirmed 950 COVID-19 infections on Saturday, a 225+ increase since last week (exceeding last Saturday’s 716).
With the Tokyo Olympics 13 days away, many hope that the fourth State of Emergency which begins on Monday will help decrease the spike of infections. The State of Emergency will last through August 22nd.
