Akimoto Yasushi's TV Asahi drama "Hyochakusha" (first episode spoilers)

“Hyochakusha” (Drifter) debuted on TV Asahi on July 23rd and is about a mysterious man (played by Saitoh Takumi) who washed ashore on the coast of Niigata. The drama is written by producer Akimoto Yasushi.

The man is naked and discovered by three high school girls. He is urgently taken to the hospital for examination but has memory loss. There is no ID on him and all that is known is that he has a tattoo on his ankle.

The doctor in charge, Kunihara Eiichi (portrayed by Funakoshi Eiichiro) tells him to take notes if he has any memories and the mysterious man would draw notes and pictures that came to mind.

Newspaper reporter Shintani Emi (portrayed by Shiraishi Mai) tries to find out who he is. Meanwhile, the three high school girls who found him, posted a video taken when they found him on SNS and it goes viral and becomes known as a handsome naked drifter and given the nickname of “Hemmingway”.

Meanwhile, an incident occurs in the prefecture with a girl’s disappearance and she is found murdered. But the girl is found in the scenery which was drawn by they mysterious drifter. And this draws immediate fuss on the net that maybe the man may have predictive abilities.

A man who seems to know Hemmingway’s identity appears, but he is later found as a hanging corpse.
