SPEED vocalist Imai Eriko’s son wins his first professional wrestling match

Many people have watched Imai Eriko and her son on television, as her son Kinoshita Raimu (also son of Shogo of the band 175R, ex-husband of Imai). Raimu was born with congenital deafness and for years, Imai has been an activist for children with disabilities, and she has been featured on television discussing life as a single mother with a son who’s deaf.

That activism would eventually lead Imai Eriko to become a politician and currently a member of the House of Councilors of the Liberal Democratic Party. While Raimu decided to forgo high school after graduating from junior high school and pursued his career in professional wrestling.

Imai took to Twitter to congratulate her son for making his dream come true.
