Pokemon fans in Okayama are shocked to see in their receipt that the Pokemon Store is closing on August 31st

For many Pokemon fans in Japan, the Pokemon Stores or Pokemon Centers is like a perfect getaway.

But those living in Western Japan who shop at AEON MALL Okayama are shocked to find out on their receipt that the Pokemon Store will be closing on August 31st. There no signs or employees alerting shoppers but many finding out through their receipt and then checking online.

For those in the Kanto region, there are no planned closures for any Pokemon Centers or Pokemon Stores.
