Former IZ*ONE member Ahn Yujin tested positive for COVID-19

Ahn Yujin, a former member of IZ*ONE, has tested positive for the novel coronavirus.

Starship Entertainment, the agency of Ahn Yujin, announced on September 4th that Ahn Yujin was determined to be infected with the coronavirus during quarantine.

Back on August 28th, both Ahn Yujin and former IZ*ONE member Jang Wonyoung were in close contact with a staff member who tested positive. While Jang Wonyoung tested positive on the 29th, Ahn Yujin tested negative. But because she was a close contact, Ahn Yujin was quarantined.

According to the statement, “During the quarantine period, Ahn Yujin conducted a self-diagnosis kit to check her health condition and after reporting that she had a sore throat and fever from the morning of September 3rd to the health center, the PCR shown a positive infection in the morning of September 4th”.
