KOM_I on why she left Wednesday Campanella

It was announced on September 6th that KOM_I who is in charge of vocals and being the primary person featured in performances and music videos of the three member group, Suiyoubi no Campanella (Wednesday Campanella) has left the group.

The group which consists of Hidefumi Kenmochi and Dir.F, now has a new vocalist, Utaha.

KOM_I said the reason for leaving the group, “I didn’t have a special opportunity, but this project has been around for about three years. I couldn’t imagine that I would continue my activities. I wanted to expand my interests and become more free. Instead of swinging around Kenmochi and Dior.F and having them walk up to each other, I came to think that the center of gravity of Wednesday Campanella should be returned to both people”.

As for the new vocalist Utaha, KOM_I said, “I really like her. When she laughs, it brightens as if the surroundings are lit up”.

Hidefumi said, “This time, vocalist KOM_I has withdrawn and Utaha will join as a new member. Me and Dir.F will work with the new member Utaha to create a new Wednesday Campanella that suits the coming era”.

Dir.F said, “It was an activity that couldn’t be done without KOM_I. It’s been ten years since I first met KOM_I. Thank you very much for taking this opportunity! Cheers for the good work. The last ten years have been an activity that would not have been possible without KOM_I. I thought that the appearance that changed little by little was KOM_I. From now on, I would like to support the world expressed by KOM_I as a fan in the future. As for the new member, Utaha, she has been named as the second generation, please enjoy the new Wednesday Campanella in your own way. We would like to thank all the fans and those concerned for awhile, but we look forward to your continued support”.

Utaha said, “May everyone and I have fun and happy days. I’m Utaha, the second vocalist of Wednesday Campanella! I decided to work together on Wednesday Camapenlla with what I wanted to do and what I want to convey. I hope you are looking forward to our future activities”!
