Suchmos bassist, HSU, has passed away

Suchmos bassist HSU (32) has passed away.

The announcement was made on the band’s official website and the cause of his death was not disclosed. A funeral was held only by close relatives fulfilling the wishes of the bereaved family.

Back in June 2019, HSU was hospitalized due to poor physical condition and after a detailed examination, a tumor was found and he underwent surgery to remove it. It was reported not long after that the surgery was successful and he was recovering.

In addition to the announcement, the following statement was made, “Both members and staff are still confused and sad because they cannot accept the reality. We would like to ask all of you to quietly see off HSU. We pray from the bottom of our hearts for the soul of HSU and thank all of you for the great kindness and support of HSU during his life”.
