Hamasaki Ayumi took to Instagram to thank her staff, fans and TAs who supported her and medical team for their support.

Hamasaki was hospitalized after her concert on Saturday for anaphylactic shock, which happened a day after fracturing her right ankle. Despite the injury, Hamasaki said she would perform despite the injury but after the concert, she was transported immediately to the hospital and during transport, she lost consciousness.

Her thank you was followed by a statement from Avex Entertainment:

After urgent transportation due to anaphylactic shock, Hamasaki was given permission to move after her follow-up, so she returned to Tokyo where she received conducted a examination at a hospital in Tokyo.

Based on the diagnosis, we will acquire solid knowledge about emergency response and how to deal with this disease, and will resume activities with the guidance of a doctor.

In addition, regarding the fracture of the right ankle, there was a strong desire to aim for an early recovery of the person, so we decided to undergo surgery in the near future.

The performance at Yoyogi National Stadium No. 1 Gymnasium scheduled for December 30th and 31st will be held as scheduled.

Regarding the canceled performance at Nagoya Civic Hall on November 7th (Sun), we are currently making adjustments for the transfer performance. We will inform you again as soon as it is decided, so we apologize for the inconvenience to those who were planning to see this performance, but thank you for your patience.
