Yomiuri Giants baseball pitcher Hatake Seishu’s dream came true, to meet Aoi Eir

The Yomiuri Giants held their 2021 Thanksgiving in Kokugikan event. And in a segment of “Giants players drams come true”, pitcher Hatake Seishu said “I want to meet Aoi Eir. I like anime, I became a fan and sung the theme song to the anime “Heroic Legend of Arsland”. Everytime I listen to Aoi Eir’s song, I get energized”.

Then the video monitor screens show Aoi Eir who said she could dot rush to the venue due to her schedule, so at least it seemed Hatake’s dream was half fulfilled. But what Hatake did not know, was that Aoi’s video was being shot backstage.

Hearing Hatake’s comment, Eir started to sing “Lapis Lazuki” via acapella and then she came out to the venue and appeared in front of Hatake which received a large applause. And also a surprise for Hatake who said he was trembling like it was a no out, bases loaded feeling.

Aoi said, “I was very happy when I received the offer, and Hatake’s comment said that he was watching “The Heroic Legend of Arslan”, so I immediately sang the ending theme song. Thank you very much for calling out to me in such a wonderful space.
