Seiyuu Sakamoto Maaya is pregnant

Sakamoto Maaya is expecting her first child. Both Sakamoto and husband/seiyuu Suzumura Kenichi issued a statement through their offices.

Sakamoto also posted on her JVC Music website thanking everyone for supporting her during her 25th anniversary since her debut as a singer and also announced her pregnancy and why she was absent for a while, as her doctor instructed her to take a rested for the time being. She has now resumed work and being careful of her physical condition.

Suzumura Kenichi wrote on a blog on his office’s website that he will do his best next year, so he can grow as a father and as an artist.
