NTV talent and model Yuchami (Kogawa Yuna) was involved in an accident during the NTV special variety program “Survival Mizudeppo! Ichigeki” on February 8th.
The station announced the news and Yuchami also posted about it on her Instagram.
According to Kogawa, she had lost her balance while running towards a treasure chest. Afterward, she complained about the pain in her leg and was seen at her nearest hospital and she was diagnosed with a fracture to her left lower leg.
Yuchami will undergo surgery on February 9th and will be hospitalized for a week.
NTV announced, “We apologize to everyone involved, including Yuchami. We took safety into consideration by conducting simulations in advance when we were on location, but the fact that a performer was injured is serious. In the future, we will take all possible measures to ensure safety in program production such as location”.
