Wada Akiko tested positive for the novel coronavirus

It was announced on Wada Akiko’s (71) official website that the singer/actress tested positive for the novel coronavirus.

According to the announcement, “She felt a pain in her throat on the night of April 6 (Wednesday), so when she underwent an antigen test at a medical institution on April 7 (Thursday), she was confirmed to be positive. She was diagnosed with the novel coronavirus. She will receive treatment and will be recovering while following the instructions of the health center and medical institution.”.
