SixTONES member Morimoto Shintaro was injured during the shooting of the Fuji TV drama “Number MG5” on May 54th.

When they were filing an action scene, the co-star’s hand hit Morimoto’s nose and after an examination, Morimoto was diagnosed with a broken nose bone.

Fuji TV issued a statement, “We sincerely apologize to Morimoto Shintaro. We will respond in good faith to future treatments. We take the situation where the performers were injured during shooting seriously, and we will take all possible safety measures in program production to prevent such accidents from happening again.”

Morimoto posted on his blog that he is doing fine. According to Johnny & Associates, he will also perform at SixTONES’s Hiroshima Green Arena live on the 7th.

Fuji TV told Daily Sports that Morimoto said, “There is no particular pain or swelling, and I will continue to participate in the shooting”.
