PERFUME to release their first album in four years

PERFUME released a new visual for their upcoming album “PLASMA” (to be released on July 27th), their first album in four years.

The last album released by PERFUME was “Future Pop” back in 2018.

The title of the new album, “PLASMA” has the meaning of “the fourth state of matter next to solids, liquids and gases”, and it is finished as an album that delivers a musical experience that changes its shape one after another.

To embody such an album concept, the new visuals, in which the members are dressed in Shinku’s Chinese-style dresses, change their hairstyles. Yuka Kashino is showing off her hime cut, A-chan is showing off her new braid hair, and the fact that Nocchi-san, who has many pants styles, is wearing a skirt costume makes one feel “change”.
