Former Nogizaka46 member Ito Karin's latest jaw surgery

Former Nogizaka46 member Ito Karin posted on Instagram on June 27th of the surgery she had to remove a plate when she had surgery for jaw deformity.

Back in May 2021, Ito announced that she would undergo surgery for jaw deformity which had symptoms of deterioration of the meshing and facial deformation due to abnormalities in the size, shape and position relationship of the jawbone.

The surgery was about a year and a half after preoperative correction. Ito said the bones were stuck together, so she had an operation to remove the plate. The bones have regenerated.
