Actress Shimada Yoko has passed away

Actress Shimada Yoko has passed away in a hospital in Tokyo on July 25th.

Shimada had been hospitalized for colorectal cancer and experienced a sudden change in her physical condition.

Shimada made her debut in 1970 and has appeared in numerous international films such as “The Hunted”, “Crying Freeman” and the TV series “Shogun”. Many will remember her works in films such as “The Inugami Family” and her roles in the TV series “Kamen Rider” and “We Are Youth”.
