Singer/Talent Ano (Ano-chan) has updated her Instagram on the 15th and denied some speculation of why she used the word “boku” in the first person and asked for certain people to “please stop talking so selfishly”.
For her Anoha Stories, Ano posted an article of the ‘reason’ for using ‘boku’ in the first person, and said, ‘Recently, I really want to write articles every time I post. I’m grateful for that, but there are too many weird articles and selfish articles, so I can’t’. In that article, the ‘reason’ was ‘because I want to be androgynous’ and ‘create a character that will survive in the entertainment world’, but in a later post, ‘In the first place, when you go abroad, everyone thinks about yourself’. I’m called me. Even men say ‘me’, but why bother to ask me? I don’t need a reason in the first place. No matter how much people think it’s not something that can be changed and it’s not feminine (in the first place, what is masculine and feminine?), but it doesn’t change anything about me or the first person’.
Ano is a Japanese singer, model, actress and talent. From 2013-2019, she was a member of the idol group “Yurumeru Mo!”. Since 2020, she has been active as a solo artist under the name Ano and since 2021, she is the guitarist and vocalist of the band I’s.
