It was announced that the 6 member K-Pop group IVE will be making their debut in the 73rd NHK Kouhaku Uta Gassen (December 31st at 7:20 p.m.).
IVE features former IZ*ONE members Ahn Yujin (19) and Jang Wonyoung (18), along with Ga-eul (20), Rei (18), LIZ (17) and LEESEO (15). The third single “After LIKE” released in August exceeded over a million in sales.
IVE has the highest number of sales among the rookie groups debuting in Korea since 2021 and achieving many music awards.
The group made their debut in Japan on Oct. 19th and sing the theme song for the event “Virtual Adventure Island 2022” held on Fuji TV.
In addition, LE SSERAFIM which features former IZ*ONE members Miyawaki Sakura and Kim Chaewon have also won multiple awards and are expected to make their first appearance.
