Mangaka Ueno Naoya passed away

Ueno Naoya, known for his adult manga works, has passed away.  The cause of death is unknown at this time.

Back in September, Naoya wrote, “I’m dying, help me”.

Sanwa Publishing’s Comics Mashou Editorial Dept. announced, “Ueno Naoya, who was writing for this magazine, passed away. He was found dead at his home on September 25, 2022. We would like to express our sincere gratitude to all the readers for their patronage”.

In August, Ueno posted on his Twitter account, “Well, it’s good that I’ve lost about 20kg in the last two and a half months due to summer fatigue and sobriety, but along with the fat, I’ve also lost muscle and my body has become very tired. I’m sorry… I’m exhausted from a little shopping.It’s like a half sick person”.

He also tweeted,”Because I lost fat and muscle due to summer fatigue, the shape around the buttocks has completely changed to that of a grandpa… This is terrible. I wonder what I should do. If I spend days feeling sick for a while, I feel like I can’t tell if I’m feeling good or bad. I don’t know what it is. I feel terrible nausea. Isn’t there a future where people who have trouble eating or who have gastrointestinal problems can easily sell IV meal sets? It’s impossible because they need intravenous injections”.
