Kodama Haruka photobook "Stay 25" to be released on November 25th

Former HKT48 member Kodama Haruka wil be releasing a photobook titled “Stay25” on November 25th and the day before release, Kodama had several thoughts on her mind.

The former idol turned actress reflected on her tough years towards the end of her idol career with HKT48 when she gained 20 kilos (44 pounds) and was diagnosed as manic depressive.

Kodama wrote, “When I was an idol, I became depressed and was hit with 20 kilograms more weight than I do now, and retired from the entertainment industry for two years. Defend only boobs and buttocks! I decided to do my best to limit my diet, diet, and do muscle training, and when I think that I am who I am now, no past is wasted. People change”.

You can see the seriousness of photographers, makeup artists, stylists, and editors for the rest of your life.

Those who have never bought a photo book.
Those who are even slightly concerned.
Those who have not completed their reservation.

I would like many people to see it because it is a work with a strong feeling.

I was conscious of shooting a photo book that overturns the titles of “former idol” and “actress” in a good way.
I think it’s definitely a fresh gravure in an area which I’ve never seen before!
I also suggested the title “Stay 25” myself.
Be yourself at 25 years old. It is meant to exist forever.
As the title suggests, we have created a wonderful work with no regrets. I am full of gratitude to all the staff who worked hard to shoot.
I would be happy if more people, as well as fans, could get their hands on it.
