Animate Ikebukuro (before the renovation)

Animate’s first flagship store in Ikebukuro (opened back in 1983) said back in 2021 that to celebrate their 40th anniversary, they will be renovating the store and it’s scheduled to open in Spring 2023.

Well, Spring 2023 is a few months away and today, Animated Ikeburo just shared a few photos of their theater and now incorporating an escalator (so no waiting for 15 min. just to get into a crowded elevator).
