In an interview on SPA! by Uzurano Tamako (Seidansha), he interviewed former AV actress/Ebisu Muscats member Yoshizawa Akiho.

Here is an excerpt from that interview:

While we hear that “jobs have drastically decreased” due to the new AV law, popular actresses are jumping out of the screen to survive.

Former sexy actress talks about the need for a “second career”.

Yoshizawa Akiho, a legend who led the AV industry as a top solo actress since her debut in 2003 until her retirement in 2019. During her career, she was known as “the actress who sells her own DVDs.” Every time she released a new album, she traveled all over the country to hold autograph sessions, exchange words with her fans, hold hands, and thus increase sales.

“Of all the actresses, I am proud to have done a lot of fan events.

I was given the opportunity to perform with the Ebisu Muscats live, and I feel that meeting them in real life rather than watching them on screen would make them more fans.

Also, by seeing how happy the fans are, “I felt that I was supporting someone’s life and living, which sometimes led to my motivation to shoot the work”.

For 16 years, the feeling of cherishing fans has not changed.

“After I retired, I wanted to have a hobby and started learning to cook. I started a cooking class because I thought it would be an opportunity for people to be more concerned about their health through their daily lives.”

The cooking class held twice a month has a capacity of 4 people. Because the lessons are small, you can learn everything from the basics.

In addition, every Wednesday, she works as a counselor at a men’s clinic in Roppongi. She listens to men’s beauty concerns and sometimes gives advice on nose hair removal.
