Nephew wants hard to find “Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury” gunpla, uncle comes to the rescue

In Japan, since the novel coronavirus pandemic, Gunpla has received a big boom in popularity (on the opposite end, resellers have been buying them out for resale at a higher price).  So, getting certain Gunpla, especially for the newer Gundam series “Kido Senshi Gandamu: Suisei no Majo” (Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury) has been a bit problematic in certain areas of Japan.

In a heartwarming story of awesome family bonds when it comes to gunpla, Midoriman tweeted the following, “I got a call from my nephew saying he won’t be home this year, so I asked ‘if there was anything you want?’. He said, ‘I wish I had it, but I want a Witch from Mercury Gunpla, they don’t sell it here at all…’. Wait, Nii-chan, I’ll send you something amazing”.
