In a recent article for FLASH, the model/actress Kiritani Mei (33) is seen walking her dog in mid-January.  She is also sporting a Max Mara Teddy Bear Icon coat which is about Y450,000 ($3990 US).

Kiritani gave birth to her first child in 2020 after marrying actor Miura Shohei (34), and became independent from her agency last year. She hasn’t been seen on TV since. In the past, it was said that the compensation for commercials was 30 million yen, but the magazine asks what is her current financial situation to afford such a luxurious coat.

Currently she is focusing on her modeling and is a popular model for “BAILA’ (Shueisha). According to one entertainment reporter, because she became independent and doesn’t have to share her income, her income shouldn’t change as much as before.

In other words, she’s doing quite well for herself!
