GACKT visits Malice Mizer drummer Kami’s grave on Kami’s birthday

From 1992 to December 2001, the visual kei rock band Malice Mizer (one of the big four visual kei bands oat the time along with La’cryma Christi, Fanatic Crisis and Shazna) entertained audiences with their lavish historical costumes and stage sets.

Lead vocalist Gackt would surprise everyone when he left the group in January 1999 to pursue a solo career, but a few months after Gackt left, drummer Kami (Kamimura Ukyou) died of a subarachnoid hemorrhage.

Gackt posted an image of him praying in front of Kami’s gravesite on Kami’s birthday.
