On February 6th, the official website of “The Idolmaster” announced a policy change that will lift the ban on audience members wearing non-woven fabric masks at box office events hosted by Bandai Namco Entertainment from February 11th onwards.

On January 27, the government’s new coronavirus infectious disease countermeasures headquarters partially changed the “basic policy for new coronavirus infectious disease countermeasures”, and in response to the revision of event holding restrictions.

At box office events hosted by Bandai Namco Entertainment after February 11th, regardless of whether or not you speak, you will be required to wear a non-woven mask at all times during the performance, but the ban on speaking out will be lifted. In addition, the ban on shouting has been lifted, but the event was still calling on people to refrain from extremely loud/strange voices and excessive cheering.

The first performance to lift the ban on vocalizing is the joint live ” THE IDOLM@STER M@STERS OF IDOL WORLD!!!!! 2023″ to be held on February 11th and 12th at Tokyo Dome. “THE IDOLM@STER M@STERS OF IDOL WORLD!! Million Live!” and the new additions of “SideM” and “Shiny Colors” will bring together all 5 brands for the first series of solo live performances. The Tokyo Dome performance of the series alone will also be held for the first time.

This is the first time since the Cinderella Girls 7th Live Tour held in Osaka in February 2020 that vocalization has been lifted at iM@s events. On the Internet, along with voice actors who are happy to announce the lifting of the ban, many comments of “Together with the producer, we’re going to rock the Tokyo Dome to the fullest!”, “It’s been so long… Thank you so much…”, “I feel like I’m finally returning to the pre-corona live”, “I’ll shout with good manners!”, etc.
