Gal Sone (who was a former Gyaruru idol and competitive eater now TV talent) updated her Instagram on March 30. Along with Tokihigashi Ami and Honda Hitomi of AKB48, three shots of the new “Gyaruru” members have been released.  While not an official group but a performance for the variety show “Love It!”.

“Gyaruru” is a para-para & gyaru sound produced by Tsunku♂, formed in 2007. Gal Sone aka Sonene, Tokihigashi Ami aka Amimi, Tsuji Nozomi aka Tsujiji (later replaced by Asami Abe aka Abebe) were part of the group and released the single “Boom Boom Meccha Maccho!”.

On March 30th, the variety show “Love it!” broadcasted a project to respond to requests from viewers to celebrate the 2nd anniversary of the broadcast. In response to the request “I want you to realize the reunion of Garuru”, original members Gal Sone and Tokito Ami along with AKB48 member Honda Hitomi formed a new “Garuru” and performed the song “Boom Boom mecha macho!”.

Gal Sone, who dyed her hair blonde for this day, posted 3 shots on Instagram after the broadcast. “It was too much fun… I’m still bad at dancing. Hahaha Hii-chan, Amimi was as perfect as you’d expect”.
