Nogizaka46 member Okamoto Hina will be suspending activities

On March 31st, Nogizaka46’s 5th generation member Okamoto Hina (19) updated the group’s official blog and announced that she would be suspending activities.

Okamoto wrote, “Thank you for the many letters and comments. I apologize for your concern. I’m sorry for doing that. At some point, I started to feel something wrong with my physical condition and after the birthday live, I had a lot of work and things to do, but I had to take days off. I was fighting with my immobile body for a long time. I felt sorry for myself. After discussing with my manager, I decided to take a break from Nogizaka46 activities for the time being.

She will also be absent from the under live of her 32nd single.

Okamoto said, “I’m really happy to be able to participate in the under live from this time, I’m happy to be in a position in my favorite song, I’m happy to have the opportunity to interact with my seniors, I want to stand on the stage soon, so I’m cheering for me during practice. A lot of the faces of the fans who supported me came to mind. Your words were kind, warm, and saved me. I am truly grateful. I will rest and recover. I would be happy if you could wait for me”.
