Yokohama DeNA Baystars pitcher Edwin Escobar received racist comments after a loss and the comment was not just racist but also threatening him and his family.

Escobar would reply to those comments:

There is no person more committed to the work and the team than me. every day every game I give my 200% every game lost affects me as if it were the last of the season. My teammates and I are working hard every day, every game to give our best and bring joy to all the fans.
