The fallout for the double affair between Michelin One Star chef Toba Shusaku and actress Hirosue Ryoko is leading to major ramifications for both individuals.
Euglena posted the following statement in regards to Toba Shusaku:
Shusaku Toba has been appointed as corporate chef since June 2021, but the contract was terminated on June 14, 2023. After confirming the facts of the news reports, we have determined that it will be difficult for him to continue working as a corporate chef.
In addition, NHK’s “Kyo no Ryori” has deleted all of Toba’s recipes from their official website.
Kobe’s Rokko Butter Co., which is known for its QBB brand cheese, canceled its support contract with Toba on the 16th.
