Former NMB48 Kinoshita Momoka (26) appeared on the YouTube channel “Machiroku ch-Tell me about your life-“. She talked about her complicated home environment, including being brutally beaten by her mother.

Kinoshita was known as the rebel of the group. Dying her hair color and then also showing off her full body tattoos, Kinoshita continues to create interest as a singer who follows her own patch.

Kinoshita talked about her problematic childhood, “My dad is my third dad and my mom’s current husband is her fourth. I have a sister who is six years older than me and her sister also has a different dad,” she revealed.

As for her mother, she described it as “insanely punchy.” She said, “I was the target of overprotection, but I was punched and kicked. It’s crazy. It’s crazy love. You know you love me so much, but that’s the way people think it’s wrong,” she said.

However, she was not the only victim of one-sided violence. “It’s not like I’ve been silently beaten all the time, but a tremendous rebellious period has begun. It’s a fistfight, isn’t it? My father-in-law said he was stunned from the first time he came to our house to see us hitting each other”.

Kinoshita was in the second year of junior high school when she entered NMB through her first audition. Her mother herself had a longing for the entertainment world, and she entrusted her dream to Kinoshita.

Kinoshita said, “Since my sister is not suited for entertainment, ‘study’, I feel like ‘I only have a face, so I’ll do the entertainment industry’, a mother who has hit her unique feelings towards her child”.

Because of that, Kinoshita was put into a theater company at the age of 4 and spent days auditioning. She didn’t go to school in the first year of junior high school. In 2010, she stepped into the entertainment world in her second year of middle school.

Since graduating from NMB in 2017, her whole body, including her neck now has tattoos and in Japan, many consider it as strange behavior for a former idol. But people now wonder if it’s due to her complicated upbringing?
