Actor Sato Hitoshi has passed away

Movie director Morioka Toshiyuki updated his blog on June 26th. Under the name of “STRAYDOG PROMOTION Production Department Co., Ltd.”, actor Sato Hitoshi passed away due to chronic disease. He was 48 years old.

On Sato-san’s photo blog published by Morioka Toshiyuki, along with a photo of Sato-san on that day, “Actor Sato Hitoshi (49 years old), who belongs to our company, died on June 12, 2023 (estimated) . He passed away suddenly due to a chronic disease. Even for our company, it is very sad to hear the sudden news of his death, and it is difficult to accept the reality”.

Sato was born on October 30, 1974 in Aichi Prefecture. Since 2006, he has appeared on stage, in movies, and on television, appearing in the TV dramas “Toto Neechan” and “Edogawa Ranpo’s Tanhenshu” Series and films such as “Kamigyo Monogatari” and “Hadaka no Minako”.
