Sato Ryuta and office K-Factory have canceled their contract with Big Motor

It has not been a good year for major used car sales company Big Motor, who fraudulently claimed insurance money from a non-life insurance company.

According to various media reports, Big Motor intentionally damaged a car entrusted to it by a customer and fraudulently billed the insurance company for insurance money.

This has led to actor Sato Ryuta, who has been the main character model for the company and his office K-Factory to cancel their contract with the used car company.  As many people were worried on SNS that the actor may receive backlash or continued representation of Big Motor would tarnish his career.

K-Factory posted on their official website, “Regarding Big Motor’s advertisement appearance, we would like to inform you that the contract has been canceled as of July 20th, based on discussions with the relevant parties”.
