The official website of TBS “Birthday” (Saturday 5:00) was updated on the 7th, announcing the departure of Higashiyama Noriyuki (56) of Shonentai, who was appointed as the new president of Johnny’s Jimusho.
Higashiyama issued a statement that he was stepping down from the program and will be devoting his life towards fixing the problems at Johnny’s Jimusho.
Higashiyama has been in charge of the moderator and narration since the program started in April 2005.
