It was announced on the 12th that Tanaka Miku (22) of the idol group HKT48 will end her activities with the group after her graduation performance on December 29th. Management is planning to hold her graduation concert next spring after her graduation, as well as a make-up event for the theater version.

Tanaka joined HKT48 in 2013 as a third generation member. Her nickname is “Mikurin”, and she became a senbatsu member for the first time in March 2014 with the HKT48 single “Sakura, Minna de Atateta”. In 2018, she released the single “Hayadori Calendar”, in which she served as the double center with Nako Yabuki.

Tanaka wrote, “From ages 12 to 22, thank you for all your support and memories. Thank you for your help for about 10 years. However, this activity will continue until the end of this year. And we will be holding a graduation concert around next spring. I hope I can give back a lot. As I write, I remember many things. Looking back, a lot of things really happened. It’s all thanks to all the fans that we were able to come this far. Nowadays, we have many reliable juniors, all of whom can be trusted to lead HKT48 from now on. Starting next year, I would like to enjoy my life as a single person”.
