Former AKB48 member Suzuki Mariya announced she is pregnant

Suzuki Mariya (32), former member of AKB48 and wife of Nemoto Yu of the comedy duo Golden Rules, updated her SNS on the 26th to announce that she is pregnant with their first child and revealed the gender to be a boy.

Suzuki debuted as a 7th generation member of AKB48 in 2009. In 2012, she transferred to SNH48 in Shanghai at her own request. She concurrently served as a member of AKB48 from April 2013, working in Shanghai and Japan before graduating in April 2017.
