Members of Country Musume, Taiyo to Cisco Moon, Melon Kinenbi and Coconuts Musume hang out

During the late ’90s and early 2000s, Morning Musume’s popularity led to Hello! Project promoting other groups such as Country Musume, Taiyo to Cisco Moon, Melon Kinenbi and Coconuts Musume to debut.

While these groups didn’t have the longevity of Morning Musume, they still had their fair share of hits and members of these four groups hung out together.

Maeda Yuki (who was a Japanese enka singer at Hello! Project) posted the photos on her Instagram with Satoda Mai (former Country Musume), Inaba Takako (former Taiyo to Cisco Moon), Shibata Ayumi, Murata Megumi, Saito Hitomi (members of Melon Kinenbi) and Nagate Ayaka of Coconuts Musume.

Fans of these early Hello! Project groups were thrilled to see these members hanging out together.
