Okamoto Mayo posted on her social media that she is terminating her management contract side with the idol group milk&honey which she has produced.

Okamoto posted a document with the content “Report on milk&honey production”. The document states, “When I received the offer, I was told that I would be involved in full production. I put together a lot of things myself, accumulated songs, and started with a goal, but when I opened the lid, there were many parts that I was not allowed to be involved in. The situation continues to be such that they cannot take responsibility, and although we made several promises at the beginning that we would not do such things as a group, those promises were not kept…There is no room for improvement, so we will not be working with the management side by the end of the year. We have decided to cancel the contract”.

Okamoto also said, “Although it was a short period of time, I learned a lot from experiencing this part of the music world for the first time, and I have already found the next stage that I would not have been able to reach if I had not gone through this experience. I feel that nothing is wasted. I just need to move forward. We received a request from the management side that they would like to continue using the group name, but I have asked them to add something before and after it to differentiate it. What the remaining members do from now on will depend on their will and their affiliation. It is up to the agency to decide, so I would appreciate it if you could continue to support me as I work hard as an individual”.”

Milk & Honey’s official group is milk & honey, an idol group that made its major debut in July of this year.The nickname is “Mirhani”. Produced by singer-songwriter Okamoto Mayo, known for the huge hit “TOMORROW.” The group was formed by 12 people selected through an audition and began activities in February of this year. After that, one member left and 11 members made their major debut. After that, several members left the group and they have continued to operate as an eight-member group.
