Toriyama Akira, a manga artist known for creating the manga “Dragon Ball,” passed away on the 1st due to acute subdural hematoma. He was 68 years old.

In response to this, Nozawa Masako, who is the voice of the main character Son Goku in the anime “Dragon Ball,” posted a memorial comment for her through her agency.

“I don’t want to believe the entire comment. My head is empty because I don’t want to think about it. Even so, every time I meet Toriyama-sensei, I remember the words he said to me, ‘Please take care of Goku’, and I am able to maintain the feeling that ‘I will be by Goku’s side until the end of my life’.
