ARASHI’s Matsumoto Jun becomes independent from STARTO ENTERTAINMENT (formerly Johnny’s Jimusho)

STARTO ENTERTAINMENT (formerly Johnny’s Office) announced　that Matsumoto Jun will become independent as of May 30th.

Arashi, the group he belongs to, announced the establishment of a company in April, and has a “group agent contract” with STARTO. Matsumoto explains, “Arashi’s agent contract continues with STARTO ENTERTAINMENT company”.

Fukuda Atsushi, CEO of STARTO, said, “I believe that every choice in life is filled with important personal thoughts. I sincerely respect Matsumoto-san’s choices. I wish him all the best in his future endeavors. Of course, Matsumoto-san will continue to be a friend of STARTO, and we look forward to continuing to support Arashi’s activities”.
